Waking nightmares?

Posted in Group:

Well im new to this group but i need answers im having dreams of running for miles and waking up completely drained ,seeing people jump from the shadows some are people i know others complete strangers. I'm seeing shadows shaped as people during the day that nobody else sees. I'm so scared but everyone that i talk to says its dangerous to be scared. if anyone can tell me if they've ever seen shadows right as there waking up or while walking around in the shadows id love them forever Ive got to get some sleep.

This could be due to your schizophrenia, what you are describing is called an illusion-seeing something and interpreting it as something else. I would let your therapist and doctor know about this and see if your meds can be adjusted.
