Hi, there are herbs that you can use in tea form. Valerian and Camomile work well for sleep. You can find those in the grocery store in the organics isle. There is also 5-HTP that's sold over the counter and taken along vitamin B6. All these help with depression and anxiety. You could try to get into the routine of meditation. There are several how-to instructions on YouTube. Hope that helps and good luck.

Oh, TennisPlayer, I forget all too often to mention exercise. In the past, when I wasnt in so much pain, I would go for long walks. The fresh air and sunlight cleared the stress and I was able to keep my thoughts organized. I sure do miss that and the restful sleep that resulted.

It is the only thing that helped me when I had insomnia issues yrs ago due to a side effect from a medicine. ...there is also cal/mag powder called calm tske at night or tart cherry juice dr. Oz talked abt....there is plenty of things to try.
